  • Property design consultation
    Before you buy, we assess the layout, light and design potential of a property. Together, we explore how it could work for your lifestyle and priorities.
  • Residential interior design
    Space planning, concepts, 3D visualisations and detailed interior drawings. Natural materials, bespoke furniture and considered lighting come together in a home that feels personal.
  • Implementation support
    We support the design through implementation, coordinating practical decisions with contractors and suppliers. We work alongside appointed, qualified professionals responsible for regulated technical activities.
  • Furniture and finishes
    We source furniture, lighting, finishes and textiles from Italian makers and specialist suppliers. Selections and purchasing are coordinated around your design, agreed budget and project schedule.

ABOUT THE STUDIO

A shared language makes it easier to discuss how you want to live, what feels comfortable and which details matter to you. Olga Zakharovskaya works in Russian, Italian and English, helping clients connect their personal brief with decisions about an Italian home. The studio is based in Milan and designs residential interiors across Italy. Our portfolio includes a Milan apartment, a historic palazzo in Bergamo and homes on Lake Como, with different scales, settings and design needs.

I am Olga Zakharovskaya, interior designer and founder of Zakharovskaya Design. A graduate of Moscow’s Stroganov University, I am now based in Milan. I design apartments and villas for clients who value quality, individuality and attention to detail. From the concept to detailed interior drawings, I develop the design and support its implementation. I work in English, Italian and Russian.

HOW WE WORK
Your brief
We begin with your property, lifestyle, budget and preferred timing. You can discuss the brief in Russian, including the small everyday details that are difficult to express in another language. We agree the scope of work and the decisions needed before moving into design.
Concept and 3D visualisation
We develop the concept and visualise the rooms so you can understand proportions, materials, colour and light before implementation.
Detailed interior drawings
Approved concepts become interior drawings, schedules and specifications for furniture, finishes and lighting.
Technical collaboration
We coordinate with appointed, qualified professionals on technical checks, building applications and any permissions required for the works.
Implementation support
We follow the interior design through implementation, discussing details with contractors and checking that design decisions remain consistent with the agreed concept.
Furniture procurement
Furniture, lighting and finishes are selected and ordered alongside the works, with attention to lead times and the project schedule.
Finishing touches
We bring the interiors together through furniture placement and final details. Any required technical submissions are handled by the appointed qualified professionals.
